Thanks
I came back later and the flowers had managed to escape the waves from the fountain and were floating all around ,really was pretty, but I didn't have the camera, because the battery was dead and was charging it!

Emerald Hills, CA(Zone 9b)

nice to have a variety of flowers blooming at the same time too!

That is beautiful; maybe you can sell that picture! It looks perfect for a greeting card, calendar or even the front of a book.

In fact, the title sounds like a good book title:

15 Flowers in the Fountain

ooohhhhh all so so pretty!
....and love that maypop,Incarnata, been wanting to try a Passiflora for years just scared they won't do well here

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Maypop should be hardy for you there!!

Nederland, TX(Zone 9a)

Very Nice Tropicman.

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Why thank you P01.

Tropicman, I've completely stayed away from tropicals (till just a few weeks ago - just bought 2 hibiscus) because it is so dry here. With daily attention the Hibiscus are doing great so that is encouraging me to go ahead and try a Passiflora. I like to 'worry' over plants anyway. :-)

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

I know what you mean about worrying over plants.
If it rains during the night,I wonder if it rained enough I don't have to water today, then when night falls,I wonder if my plants need watering, then I can't sleep wondering if I should have watered them!!!!
I worry a lot less during the winter when I have them inside the greenhouse,I know they are safe from the elements, then I worry if bugs are eating them LOL!!!

Disputanta, VA(Zone 7a)

Beautiful blooms Tropicman, I'd love to have half as many blooming as you have, what a beautiful scene. Question about the passionflower, are any of yours hardy or do they all go in the greenhouse for winter?

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

The maypop,is so hardy it spreads like wild fires from underground runners, and I have one other that is hardy,it's leaves look like long skinny fingers,it is a sport, I'm assuming off a cearulea, for the flowers are almost identical but leaves are not.It flowers late September or early October, very late in blooming, but I always welcome flowers that late in the season.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Love your fountain with beautiful blooms floating around. Really would be a pretty calendar picture. I have the Passion flower like yours. (Lavender Lady) It bloomed in the spring but has quit now. Do you think its because of the heat? I keep it watered good & the plant is growing by leaps & bounds.

Thanks
I lost my Lavender lady, she grew like crazy, bloomed her little head off then croaked.don't know why she was well watered too.
I think it must have been something in the soil, because she went like overnite!
