When I first got about 20 hens from somebody they didn't lay for about 3 or 4 weeks - seemed like they needed time to adjust to their new surroundings maybe? Sorry I don't have more help than that - without other symptoms it seems strange. I guess you could try changing their feed or take a fecal sample to a vet and get it tested for parasites?

Claire is right sometimes chickens get depressed when they are moved from probably the only home they have known.
It takes some time for them to adjust to your place and you and other things are different like the feed or the feeders your water could taste different or in a container they don't recognize.
When i get new chickens alot of times they are terrified of my dogs and it takes a few days for them to realize they won't be harmed.

I would worry however if after a week or 2 they are not doing well and still appear to be sick or cold.
Sometimes we have things in our chickens environment that these new chickens have never been exposed too.
Say for instance a cold or maybe coccidia when they are exposed to them they become sick from it.
This is just and example and not meant to alarm you it's just info i thought you might be interested to know {:~)

I agree, they can stop laying after a move. Even if you have had them for years and move them to a new pen they will stop laying for a while.
