Whose eggs is this?

Does anyone know how big of an egg Modern Game hens lay? I have 3 & they should be close to the right age to start laying eggs. Tonight I found a light pink egg with a funny shape to it, nearly round.. but it was outside the pen & my other chickens that are laying lay cream & blue eggs. This egg was as big as my bantam eggs too. If its my lil modern game hens I feel very sorry for them.

Modern Game Bantams lay a small white egg

Do you have EE if you do it could be a wind egg from them young hens sometimes lay wind eggs when they are first starting to lay.
Some brown egg layers will lay a cream/pinkish colored egg on occasion

The EE's are not even 2 months yet & i suspect most are roos tho I'm not going to mention that to my mom. My modern game hens are the only group now old enough to lay besides Pepper, Nutmeg & Clove. Nutmeg is confined with babies. Clove lays a blue egg & Pepper lays a creamy yellow egg. This was definitely pink & misshapen like a new egg is when they first start laying.

What the heck is a wind egg? An egg with a fart in it?

giggle. Is there literally nothing in them?

In some it is just the white in others there is a tiny yolk too I have had both it's strange to find these tiny eggs in a nest LOL

I call them hiccup eggs. :-) It's like the hen had a hiccup and an egg popped out before it was ready.

I SO cannot wait for mine to lay!!!

They are ....let's see April 25th is their estimated hatch date....so, another 6 weeks or so?

lol guess i need to crack the egg & see what's in it. It was not a small egg. It was as big as my bantam eggs. I need to take a picture of it & post it.. just been lazy about it. I'll do that tomorrow... with a quarter for reference of size. I like calling them hiccup eggs. :) that's cute! Its hard to know when they are laying bc I have some very messed up roos that cackle when my hens lay eggs.. AFTER the hen leaves the nest.. so if there are 4 or 5 hens there I don't know who laid the egg. & i thought i was hearing things.. & mom thought i was nuts.. so i went out to check & there was Sage & Cotton Candy cackling away like happy lil hens. so i never know who or where the egg was laid. They've been doing this for awhile.. someone could be laying eggs in the yard & I've not found them yet. I just don't know.
