Mini Garden Trellis Idea

Medway, MA(Zone 5b)

Look at the ready-made trellis for my Creeping Wire Vine! It is one of those things that lace is wrapped around in the store! I love ready-made! Hmmm - if I collect enough of them, maybe I could make a gazebo! (Mini hosta 'mouse ears' on the right)

What a great idea! It makes a perfect trellis for a miniature garden setting and your little fairy garden looks really nice!

I meant to comment earlier. I like it a lot too. Constantly amazed at people's creativity and imagination.

How clever to use it as a trellis for the tiny garden. Another "must have" to put on my list.

Great idea and it looks perfect with the wire vine crawling up it!

I can see no one has been here since last year but figured it would not hurt to post this and if no one sees it that is fine. I do collect miniaturese, some of it just cute, some of it hand made, some of it expensive. I have not thought about adding a plant to my rooms - what a great idea! I have some mini african violets - really mini. They grow in a pot on my kitchen window sill and the pot is only 2 1/2 inches. Really cute. Don't the plants you have used in your scenes out grow their usefullness? Must you then replace them with new ones? What about watering? The idea intrigues me but I cannot quite see how it can be done.

Hello! Sometimes you do have to replace plants. Depends on the plants.

I have a passion for miniature books. The readable ones. I probably have about 100 of them but I don't feel done ture with them yet. Here is a picture of some of my miniatures.

One more picture. The most expensive item is the Geophry Wonnecut desk - and I am sure I misspelled that!! I have three hobbies that I love to do but there is only so many rooms I can take over after all!! Presently my hobbie/ laundry room is full of fabirc and UFOs. (if you are not a quilter that means un finished object)

Have you ever been to a Tom Bishop miniature show? It is totally awsome!! People from all over the world and such unbelieveable things. They hold these shows all over the United States at least once a year. Well, if you have never been and happen to notice one near you, give it a look. If you really love miniatures, take your charge card with you. I have seen a camera that actually can take pictures, wine bottles with the wine inside, the proper label, and properly corked, shot guns that you might shoot if there were small enough amo.

Very interesting. Great pictures, Mableruth!
