2 Unknown weeds

I posted these in the Plant & Tree ID forum, and seem to have stumped the experts. Maybe someone actually in Texas will have a better idea?

This one is about 10 inches tall, and is all over my garden: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1014473/

This one is about 5 feet tall and is in the sunniest spot in my otherwise very shady garden. There is some thought that it might be horseweed. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1014472/

Marylyn, the First one is False Nettle, and the second one Goldenrod, I posted on the ID forum too.

I have tons of the False Nettle, just never knew what it was called. I'm guessing the birds are responsible for most of it.
