Look at my 'baby' blue amaryllis. It's about to bloom. I thought it would be a couple of years before it bloomed, if it even lived that long. I was so excited this afternoon when I went to water the plants in my greenhouse. Can't wait to see what it looks like when open.
How exciting!! I was going to get some but the vendor was completly out. Do you mind telling me where you got this one?
It was a trade last year, can't remember the person. I thought several times I had lost it, I let it dry out one time and another got lost in the shuffle, but it seems to be quite persistent in wanting to grow. I need to do more research on it, I don't really know that much about it. I will post a picture when it opens.
Looking forward to seeing the flowers.
