Love 'em. Ya know I have an ulterior motive for seeing blue summer pics??? For some reason I have too much yellow in my blue and yellow garden and am looking for more summer blooming blues.

I figured you had a motive, Jen. :) Blues ARE so calming.

Great! What gentian is that, Celeste?

Love that spruce, Bill.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

thx victor - me too - searched long and hard for it - semi dwarf will only get to 10' although i plan to keep it smaller

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Name?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

baby blue eyes although this one was baby blue - original grower patented the blue eyes name - another grower sells same tree under baby blue - nursery had both - this was the best of the stock - not as expensive as i'd seen them in a couple places by my home - actually less than 1/2 the price and this one is a bet bigger

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Victor, thank you for calling me on that Gentian because it's not!! lol
I corrected it, wrong name for that plant, it's actually Lithodora.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Ha ha! I was not doubting you on it - just wanted to get it!

Thanks Bill.

It is a very nice ground cover, I grow it with my creeping phlox.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I like the flax too.
