OK; I bought this plant at a flea market near Pharr, Texas (Rio Grande Valley). The vendor, who spoke no English, said it was a "Sombrilla Japonesa" which translates to "Japanese Parasol." When I Googled this, there was no joy. I tried "butterfly flower" because of the shape of the flower, and got some similar appearing flowers but nothing I could be even a little comfortable with. Take a look and help me out please!!

What a pretty plant! Is it fragrant? I will watch to see what ID you find.
Not fragrant. It is fairly small right now, but I have no idea how big it will get.

Moodene; thank you! That was close enough; actually it is a different species of Holmskioldia, H. tettensis. I would not have gotten it without your input. Thanks@!!
