Is he or isn't she? I think this one might be a rooster.

Well, I'm supposed to have ten little Brahma pullets all in a row. But this one doesn't look like the rest and it is trying to crow. Now I know that a hen might crow, but this one is really a bit darker than the rest of the Buff pullets.

I vote roo. Definitely more intense colouring and development in the wattles--and he's got the strut.

I think I must agree, the red face and larger waddles looks rather rooish to me.

Well gee, thanks for the prompt reply! And DH was fussing at me to see about getting a roo at some point. I guess the fates took care of that request.

And smedgekles, I got them mail order from Ideal. We've certainly been enjoying them!
