Great Sinningia website I just found

Medford, NJ

Don't know if you all know about this site, I have been on it for the past few days, lots of great info and pictures - yeah, I know my photo is not a sinn, it's my favorite and oldest hoya carnosa, just blooming this week

Yeah, isn't it a great site?? I just can't believe the amount of info, not just general but specific to each species and hybrid, and all the pics - not just of flowers, but of whole plants too, and habitat, and everything else you could possibly be interested in. Whomever put this site together, it is a labor of love. I need to get me some of these sinningias for sure!

I love the dark pink of that old carnosa.........sometimes the simplest cultivars bloom the very best!!

Gail, the color it blooms depends on the amount of light it gets. If it were indoors or in the shade, it would be a pale, pale lavender color. I have other carnosas and their bloom color is not affected by the light, only this one is. It also grows much faster than all of my others.

Makes me know that the 'old time' plants just seem to thrive!! All the new crosses have a harder time getting going.............
