Oh, how tiny! And so cute...

Very good pic, gives a great perspective of just how small they are. Thanks Haystack

That is a cutie. And it is so tiny.

My Nankin just hatched six Nankin/Japanese Bantam chicks--bantam on both sides and yet when I put ZZ's week old Serama chicks in with them, they are still smaller than the day old bantams. Fortunately Nankins will mother anything.

What color do you think your little one will be, Jessaree?

Anderson, TX(Zone 8a)

Color? One daddy is solid black, the other has light in his wings, mama could be yellow or black or peach?

It is so cute! I love Seramas so much!

so tiny, a lot like our banty babies.

what a cutie!~

Okay, was this _really_ neccesary? Did ya HAVE to put in pictures?? Don't I have enough chickens? Why would I want any more, especially itsy bitsy tiny 'lil featherballs? Hmm. The eggs surely wouldn't take up much room under a hen, and "he" probably wouldn't notice, and then I could tell him they must be some kind of cross with a wild bird that had been attracted to one of the hens....

Yeah, he'll believe it. Yeah, I can make it work.

Oh, the trials and tribulations of addiction.

sigh

Hi elle. I think you should start a new thread about your house hen--I am sure people have good ideas, but they may not see it on this one.

I have a house hen right now too.

Biggs, KY(Zone 6a)

Too cute. Smaller than my bantams.
