are there any chick hatcheries in georgia ? i was told there was but can not find it anyone can help me out , please. thanks ahead of time.

Ideal Poultry in Texas
Murray McMurray in Iowa
Mt. Healthy in Ohio
I'm in PA and there are a number of hatcheries in my area. A quick search on google for 'hatcheries near (your zip code) should yield good results.

cooksternan There are several people who have farms that sell chicks in Ga. they are on BYC you will have to keep a watch for them on the Chicks and Eggs selling forum.
I don't know of a hatchery in Ga. if it was here i'm sure me being up on most things chickens i would know about it.
Maybe what you heard about was one of the individuals who sell live chicks.

LIttle Gem (see above) is in Georgia and it looks like they have some wonderful heritage breeds.
Thats a new one hadn't heard of that yet i will have to ask around and see what reviews i can get on them.
Sounds good from the BYC folks i will research it more i don't do large breeds.
