Ammonium sulfate and 20-20-20 ferts in EBs?

I getting ready to plant my broccoli, cauliflower, onions and pumpkins in August. In reading up on them it says to use 20-20-20 ferts and ammonium sulfate with the broccoli and cauliflower and to use 16-16-8 and ammonium sulfate with the onions. I'm going to be growing my broccoli and cauliflower in an EB and probably the onions in a smart pot. So; how much of the ammonium sulfate do I use in the EB and do I add it to the fertilizer line?

Joy you might wanna check with TPlant on this one. He's a stickler 4 following the EB instructions to the letter. LMK, cause seems we're on the same planting schedule. Have you started seeds or will you direct sow? Linda

Gymgirl: I ordered cheddar cauliflower seeds, spinach seeds and broccoli seeds today. I do want beets but thought about seeing if I could get some starter plants and also checking out the onion starter sets and potato starter sets, of course, I'm not to plant potatoes til January; but, beets can go in Sept. and so can bulbing onions, bunching onions can be planted in August right along with the Broccoli and Cauliflower.

I need to plant my cabbage seeds too, it's going in in Sept, I'm going to use the totes and 5 gallon buckets, one head per bucket and two heads per tote. Spinach doesn't get planted til October and Carrots get planted in September.

Pumpkin can also be planted in August also; but I have the seeds.
