Looks to be Hoya carnosa Krimson Princess....and a very nice healthy one too!!

Cape Coral, FL(Zone 10a)

Very nice hoya, I agree with Shelly. Some people cut off stems with all green leaves so the plant wouldn't revert to all green.

Lovely, healthy plant and I agree with the ID of H. carnosa Rubra a/k/a "Krimson Princess" a/k/a "Strawberries and Cream": http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/57702/

I have a very old one that has almost totally reverted back to solid green! I never knew about removing the green leaves, so just let it do it's own thing.

Removing green leaves? I have this visual image of a nekkid variegated Hoya? I've not heard that... do new leaves sprout where the old ones were?

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Is it the same as this one?

boojum: Your last photo looks like H. carnosa 'Tricolor' a/k/a "Krimson Queen": http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/57703/

I learned from folks here that the foliage on the "Queen" has white or cream edges with green centers.

"Princess" foliage has green edges with white or cream centers.

AHHH. I thought they were different! So I have the Krimson Queen and her Princess!!

(Zone 1)

Yep ... I have both also, and I bet thousands of other folks do too!

Cape Coral, FL(Zone 10a)

Podster, I belong to another hoya forum. One of the member cut off the green leaved stems to keep variegation from reverting. also start plain green pot with the cuttings.

Fuquay-Varina, NC(Zone 7a)

question.......once a variegated plant pops out a solid leaf, all other leaves are going to be solid? or is this an old-wives tale?

Deep East Texas, TX(Zone 8a)

Yep ~ I'm one of those "thousands of other folks" but I love both of these variegated Hoyas.

Sunshinesw ~ thanks for that info. I intend to start whacking away on my H. Krimson Princess tomorrow.

Deep East Texas, TX(Zone 8a)

Gaiadisciple ~ While outside planning my attack on cuttings, I found the answer to your question. My H. Krimson Princess plant has a stem with (top to bottom) two variegated, three solid green and then at the end a variegated leaf. I would say they are not "always" solid. If you would like to see a photo, I'll take one tomorrow.
