I was watching the Scissor-tails work over this young Red-tailed Hawk when I saw him stoop on something at the edge of one of our ponds and remain on the ground. Grabbed my camera and took off t see if I could get a shot. If you zoom in on his talons it is possible to see he caught a bullfrog. He is a stunningly beautiful young bird.

My young red shouldered hawk isn't as successfully yet. I still see him making way more misses than captures. (and then he throws a screaming fit most of the time when he misses ^_^ )
