Went to a garden center yesterday and just happen to come upon a display of gnomes. There were about a dozen different gnomes but I only got a few. In total they had at least 50 of them throughout the store and they were all on sale from $3.99 to maybe $6.99. (I put the can there for size comparison.) I'm so excited to finally find some!
Finally found some gnomes
They are nice! Some of them are ready to work! It will be fun to have a place for them. Can't wait to see.
glad you found what you were looking for!
I like the one on the snail best :0)
They are very cute....I like them! I don't like when gnomes look too cartoonish. I really like these! Good find!
http://www.miniature-gardens.com had some new sets of mini gnomes that were realistic and I think they were even smaller in size. Sets of 5 or 6 & Families too!
Personally, I'm completely sold out - it seems everyone has gone to the gnomes!!
In your first picture, the one to the right looks like a Santa Gnome. They are all very cute!
If you have a Target near by, they have some in the One Spot area for $1.00. And they should have the tiny 2 inch pots at clearance prices.
Guess it does look like a Santa Gnome! I'll have to get him a shovel or something.
I got a gnome house with two standing and one sitting gnome from www.collectionsetc.com. They are precious! I'll post a pic to this forum soon. Working on a new bed now inwhich to place them. (You can use their search for gnomes and fairies.)
SO VERY CUTE! I love your house. I bet the gnomes are happy too! Yes, a little light would be cute. How big is it?
Show us what you do with it next!
Sally the house is 9 1/4 inches high and the standing gnomes are about 3 1/2 inches. They offer a two story fairy house I want to order too. The heat is upon us here on the MS coast so I'm afraid I'm going to have to wait till fall to plant the perrenial bed where they will live.
Nice size! I hope to plant a fairy container garden this weekend with hubby's help. I have been so ill with the CFS, I stay inside and today, in bed. So frustrating. I just want to go outside. HOT here too.
Sally - so sorry to hear CFS has you down. I have been helping my 81yr. old mother cut back her iris. We work a few minutes and rest a few minutes but between the two of us we finally got the job done. Thank the Lord for "scoot 'n do's"! Doc says my back is that of a 90 year old and I can't stand or walk very much. Mother just has no energy anymore but she wants to work in her yard so badly. But as you know - all we can do is all we can do. Hope you and hubby get to plant the fairy garden this weekend and please post a picture. Your fairy gardens are such an inspiration to us all! I have put you on my prayer list my friend. Joyce
Yes, we can just do what we can. My hubby 'gets' to do a lot more now! We bought a neat container and things to make a new fairy container today. I hope to make it this eve. with his help. I am sorry about your back. What beautiful iris plants!!! Yard of the month is great!
