Growing Romanesco broccoli aka Roman Cauliflower?

GA, GA(Zone 7b)

Does anyone have any experience and advice on growing Romanesco broccoli, especially in the southeast?

I'd like to try some as a fall crop but with the long maturity time I'm not sure if it would work. I know it gets too hot in the summer for it (and me!)

Are there any particular varities that are better?

Thanks much!

There is a shorter & longer season variety. Try planting "Veronica" for the early spring. I have several hundred of both early & late in the field now...

Plant and grow the same as you would whenever you do cauliflower.
