Adding Lime to hoyas

Hello,

I was reading on one of the places to order hoya and they were talking about adding lime to hoya plants but didn't seem to be talking about all hoyas. Can anyone tell me if this should be done to all hoyas or only certain ones and if only certain which ones would those be.

I only add lime to my mix when the pH is too acid. Ted Green says to add lime to Eriostemma. I don't add it to any specific hoya or anything else. I mix it in the soil ONLY when the pH tells me it is too acid. I would not go around adding stuff without knowing the pH.
