My name is Dennis

Hi you garden guys! I am a 9 yr old Jack Russell terrier who lives in Alaska and it is a small town that has no one to give me a home. I have a friend named Dr Lowry and he is a veterinarian who want to help me get a home and is willing to pay for 1/2 of my flight to Seattle or where ever to get me to someone who can give me love. I never until he came along knew that people were friendly and would like me. My previous owners kept me tied to a post for 8 years and I was kind of lost. Fortunately someone brought me to an Animal Shelter in Valdez where they have been so nice to me. Steve (Dr Lowry) is my friend and has shown me how to hike on trails without a leash!, how to jump in mud, and how to cross rivers. I am very brave and am a good hunter for little mice and voles. I have tried without success to get seagulls and marmot but they are too fast for me. I though am going to keep trying. I am a survivor and would love to cuddle with someone who pets me like Steve does. He can't take me home because the last rescue dog he got killed his wife's favorite cat. So he is helping me with an internet listing for me to find someone who could teach me house training, and give me a bed to curl up in. He and I have had much fun and I can't wait until he comes back in July to play with me for 3 weeks! Then he is leaving the first week of August and I run out of time to have a home. Ask him how funny and good I am. He will be flying back to the lower states on Aug 7th and could get me anywhere. Just Ask Steve how I now know how good it is to lay on the beach and cuddle with him and I love running through tall grass chasing imaginary monsters. Let me know if you are interested cause I need a home soon. Dennis.
