I was recording an America Goldfinch feeding at one of my feeders when a female House Sparrow decided that she wanted the feeder.

The Goldfinch kicked her butt.

I reckon the Goldfinch figured he was there first and decided to put up a fight.

Very brave! A House Sparrow (28g) is over twice the weight of an American Goldfinch (13g)

Good for the goldfinch. The hosp usually beat up on the other guys.
