Keeping my fingers crossed!
Hoya Onychoides
Very cool ... keep us posted!
I found a peduncle with teensy buds on my kerrii today. It will be the first bloom for me with this one!
Cool on your onychioides...love those leaves!!!!! The flowers are beautiful, too...mine is a reluctant bloomer...
I am crossing my gingers and toes. Looking forward to beautiful bloom.

How exciting...where is that plant located? It looks like it's on a windowsill maybe? If so, what exposure and how much sun a day does it get? Thanks and good luck with those buds!

Mine is a cutting I got last year from David Liddle. I rooted it in water with some ST in it and potted it in one of those solo cups. I have it in a mixture of orchid bark, potting soil and extra perlite. I water it when it feels dry (by picking it up and seeing how heavy it is) and fertlize once in a while. I really don't have a ritual that I do. I do have it in a west facing window. The room is bright to begin with, but after 12:30 or so the sun shines right in there the rest of the day. That is where I keep most of them during the winter too.
I look forward to sharing the blooms with you!

Following the same advice for all the rest of the 'cousins' (macgillivrayi, onychioides) that I was given for H. archboldiana by DL, I grow mine in the winter very dry...very dry. In the summer lots of water!!! It grows well but maybe I have to put it outdoors in the sun for blooms.
I think I'm going to put mine outside under the mimosa tree and see how it does there. it gets really good sun there.
Good idea!!! It will probably take off!
I've got some beautiful red leaves off my onychoides this year... I thought it would be one that I couldn't grow, but it seems to be doing well at the moment!
Good info here!
Mine is just a stick with a couple of very tiny shoots...smallest Hoya leaves I've ever seen...I'm gonna move it to a western exposure and see if it grows more like it should.
