Your Daughter is precous Patrick . I have a little one that is eight months old now. I cant wait until she can speak and tell me about my blooms. She does smile when I show her one now.

Thanks, she is a ham, she is the youngest of 7. Yes, 7 my wife has 6 from her first marriage, she is my only one, and she is a "Daddy's Girl". You should have seen her just a few hours ago, I was potting up my hibs that I received on Thursday into bigger pots, she was helping me she was dirty, my wife says looks like she was "rootin with the hogs" I had to ask her what that meant. I have never heard of it before. I'm from Fl, I told her that it must be an Ohio phrase.

I bet since your little one smiles at the blooms, she will be a big helper like Lexie is, she was planting coleus also today. she goes around pinching them off and sticking therm wherever she can find room for them, she also pollinates hibs too.

I love both of your "blooms". Lexie sounds like quite the helper & she's a doll to boot! How wonderful for you. Now about this Katie Jones, where did you find her? Talk about unique, that's quite a bloom.

Thanks for the comments, We got Kattie Jones from Tried and True hibiscus in Florida last December, we drove down there and picked up around 12 different ones. I am from Florida but my wife is from Ohio, so I had to show her what kind of weather Christmas is suppose to be like, it was in the 80's when we were down there and of course snowing when we got back to Ohio. She loved the weather so I think I have her Convinced to move down there.

Wouldn't it be great to live down there & bask in everything that makes Florida so wonderful. Let's not talk about the humidity. I know you're wife would love it. I like the way you said convinced with a capital C, no less! LOL
Let us know when you're headed south again, to stay I mean. ;-)
