Great Wilfred... Nice Blooms and pics... The orange double is vibrant. Love them all

Portland, TX(Zone 9a)

I hope you get more blooms too so you can post some more pictures. I'm afraid with only about nine hibbies in my collection, I don't have much to post and I do so enjoy looking at everyone's hibbie pictures.

Wilfred, your first unknown can be "Mrs Jimmy Spangler". I don't remember now the name of the second one but I've seen it before. One of these days I'll catch the name.

And an unexpected color change in "Lexie" don't know why this happened, first five blooms were all the same color and all of a sudden this one decided to change color.

This is how "Lexie" First five blooms looked like before color change. Patrick, I hope your daughter still likes it, I don't know if this is temporary or not, the cutting I planted are still alive and green but no new growth has started yet, just have to wait and see if they survive, if not just have to plant new cutting for Lexie.

One beautifull then another City Slicker is so unusual.

Disputanta, VA(Zone 7a)

I love your new "Lexie"! Another awesome bloom City Slicker & I really like Largo Breeze too! LB doesn't look real, looks like someone has painted it, or as my mom once said "somebody must of touched that one up". It's too perfect looking!

Los Angeles, CA(Zone 10b)

Wow Wilfred...

I really like the color change in 'Lexie". Looks great..

Huber Heights , OH(Zone 5b)

Wilfred,

I think it still looks great and yes, Lexie still loves it. It may be taking on some of her traits which are a differnt look every day. The hibiscus seems to have a little bit of mystery about it.

Patrick

Lexie said to tell you hi

French Maiden

Thumbnail by MerryMary
Ocoee (W. Orlando), FL(Zone 9b)

One I need an ID for....I've owned it for about 20 years, it's a double (or triple!) bright peachy salmony pink. Not at all a pastel color, very intense. Any ideas? I got it at White Rose, which went out of business, and quite often they carried things released from the University of Florida, so I'm not sure if it was one of those, or something more common, but I've never found another.

Your French Maiden looks beautiful MerryMary, Oi La La! and the 20 year old one looks gorgeous even if it has no name, If you never find the name just call it Merry Mary until you get it, cause she does look very merry to me and she's surly is yours

Wilfred

Disputanta, VA(Zone 7a)

I like them both Mary, there's something kinda special about your NOID though. I like!

Ocoee (W. Orlando), FL(Zone 9b)

Thanks! Maybe I WILL name it after myself! :) Although I prefer true pinks.

Red Hot, which hasn't bloomed yet this year (due to my forgetting I even bought the thing!) but the leaves are so pretty, even if it never blooms I still love it (now that I found it again)

All are beautiful Mary, I have some of the oldies myself and I love them the same as the new hybrids, "Painted Lady" is one of my first hibs I have. and the red one also one of my favorite, one thing about this hibs is that they put out lots of blooms.
