Mite have to call this seedling the Cross Hib

Carolina, PR(Zone 11)

This is the forth bloom on this new seedling of mien, and it only seems to produce four petal blooms, all of the other first three blooms had four petals also exactly the same.

Just from curiosity, does anybody likes this hib. I know its not a normal bloom but there's something appealing about this one, I just can't figure it out.

I like her, and if you want to send me one, I'd grow one proudly. I'd put her next to my passion flower :-)

I like it Wilfed. The larger top pedal in the center reminds me of an Orchid my wife had last year.

Dee I'll send you a D-mail, and you also Jon, as for the bloom staying with four petals only time can tell, it has produced only four bloom since last week, it may still need a little time since its a new seedling to see what happens to the bloom shape wise. Right now it has four buds on the plant.

Pretty Wilfred. Does it have a name?

Hi Judy, I called it "The Cross" for apparent reasons, don't know why, but this seedling of mien only produces four petal on the blooms, and it still does, it kept that trade in it, hasn't change yet, and it put out seven bloom already since it started to bloom.
