Her name is unknown and she is unlike the normal garden variety Reds I see around here. Any ideas?

I have that same one but I have the same problem, don't no her name, and she a really good seeder, every time I pollinate her she puts out seed pods with lots of seeds in them. She's also bigger than the normal garden variety I bet, like mien. I'll be checking to see if anybody knows her name so I can name mien also.

She...or he...is a nice one Dee. I don't have a clue as to which cultivator it might be.

Yes Wilfred, the blooms are larger than the normal red and I see she has a sister/cousin/another cousin in PR. I hope someone will be able to ID them for us so they will have names of their own.

It funny how apart we live from each other yet we have the same hib with no name for it, just who would imagine that some body from all across the other side of our beautiful nation and even crossing some water to get here, well maybe an ocean, LOL! and would post a photo of the same hib to get her name.
Just hope somebody know her name and gives it to us.

I don't believe they are the same variety. The eye looks different and how they are overlapped (one to the left, the other to the right). Also the leaves haven't the same shape.
BTW I don't know their names ... if they have one.

Carlos

Thanks Carlos.

Wilfred if they have no name I guess you and I can just name them whatever we want to call them. Mine will be known around my house as "My Puerto Rican Cousin" :-)

Carolina, PR(Zone 11)

Well I'll be calling mien, lets see theirs " Little Dee " , and " My Friend Dee " and " Cousin Dee " they all have a nice ring to them, problem is only one name can be use. I think I'll call it " Cousin Dee " and use the other to name for some of the seedling that come from it cross pollination.
