T Purple Splendor
Some Blooms from this week
Gorgeous hibs like aways Jon, It's quite a coincidence that my first hib was a red one like yours, never knew it name since it was a cutting I ask a neighbor for, after that it was Painted Lady, than an orange one and so on, most of my first hibs were cuttings I would ask from neighbors for and didn't know their names and still don't today, well that something you have to accept when asking for cutting and most hibs sold in garden centers don't have names ether.
Love your photos, keep them coming.
Wilfred
Nice blooms, love the colors on the T. Purple Slend. and t. Sun Giant, and the T. Orange Garnet
Nice Jon, that Rocket's Red Glare is perfect for the 4th of July!
I've never seen the (for lack of the correct word) "form", as on your Dark Charm, I like it . But then there isn't one in the bunch I wouldn't love to have. Really nice & super pics too! Nice to see all these fireworks lighting up my computer screen. ;-)
Thanks.
Nice blooms as always Jon. Rocket's Red Glare is definitely a good one. I have a question about "Dark Charm" Jon. Mine has blooms that always have nice coloration. My issue is that in hot weather some of the blooms only open about 2/3 of the way and then put on the brakes. Have you noticed this happening on your "Dark Charm" on occasion? I'm just curious to see if other(s) may be experiencing this?
Jon
your hibs are Brilliant!
Nice Jon. Where did you find "Evening Glow"?? Thanks for the feedback on "Dark Charm". It's always valuable to know if others are having the same experiences with specific cultivators. It puts the mind at ease.
