I know, but it's definitely real. There are 4 tropical hibiscus with "Voodoo" in it's name. First there was "Voodoo Queen", then "Voodoo Magic", then "Black Voodoo" and most recently introduced was "Funny Voodoo". Here's a photo from May 25, 2009 of Hibiscus "Black Voodoo". This is also a very different colored hibiscus.

Thanks. I agree and just went "wow" when it bloomed for the first time with double blooms. Only negative about the plant is that it definitely goes through the yellowing leaf phase adjusting to the summer temperatures. It was in this phase for about 3 or 4 weeks and is finally beginning to break that cycle. Some of them adjust perfectly with no yellowing leaves and there are some that can drive you crazy!!

Lovely blooms, Jon. I didn't know about yellow leaf phase in Funny Voodoo.
BTW, add to that list Voodoo Doll, although this one comes from B. Schlueter. The rest, as you know, are from Dupont-Gerlich.
Maybe this year I will get a pair of Voodoo varieties.

Thanks Carlos. I didn't know about "Voodoo Doll" so thanks for letting me know. I have the other 4 "Voodoo's". The positive about "Black Voodoo" and "Funny Voodoo" is they are probably the fastest growing ones in my collection. I guess I better go post the photo in the hibiscus forum. I was waiting until I had more photos to post.
