Boneapart's Gull maybe

I was just searching my book and settled on Bonapartes' Gull also, although the range does not seem right.....I have been fooled by the range listing before.

We have had them up here this year. I saw one in May at the shore. Thank you.

My book shows a black tail tip on Laughing Gull, which this one does not seem to have. Is this a youngster?

Hi GP - the black tail tip is youngsters only, adults have an all-white tail
