I was watching the Chickadee on my new birdbath when I spied a second bird in the underbrush "behind" it.
I don't know what it is. Does anyone else?
Thanks
CLOSED: What bird is this? Thanks
Carolina Wren I think but can't see it real well
Yeah, that's my fault. I had the camera on "movie", featuring the Chickadee, and didn't even know the other bird was there until I transferred it to my computer.
Otherwise, I would have redirected the camera.
Maybe some one else will chime in.
Thanks.
I just looked up Carolina Wren in my books and it looks like a Carolina Wren to me, too.
But if you hadn't made the suggestion, I'd never have looked.
Thank you. I'll close it when someone else gives input.

When I first looked in the top photo I thought it looked like a Robin fledging. But the second photo shows the tail and it does look like (most likely) a Carolina Wren. You'll know if you have them around your home. Their ‘song’ or call is very distinctive and they're HARD to miss. And they’re a riot to watch too. LOL
Ditto to Carolina Wren

Thanks all.
