Kim's not a subscriber anymore. :o( Here's the last thread she started. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/893083/ If you read all the way thru, toward the bottom she tells that she's letting her subscription expire. I really hope she's doing well! Maybe we'll hear from her one of these days...

Isn't she the one who made beautiful beaded plant hangers?

Yep! That's her! Seems like someone here on the board got one or two from her, but I can't remember for sure, or even who it might have been.

I do believe I tried, but she said she wasn't making them anymore at that point. I love anything made with beads...then this hoya girl from Isreal showed some beaded hangers in her pictures, they were made from copper wire plus the beads, and when i said I liked them (she and I already had done some trading) she just sent me 5 in the mail...I was really touched.

Kim's hangers were so pretty..I read her post that was linked to above, sounds like she just had to get her life in order. It is a real drag when financial issues pull you down, but my mom always said that any problem that can be solved with money isn't worth worrying about....unless, of course, you have no money, which was always my response when she said that. Stupid saying if you ask me!

As a matter of fact, she called me this past Sunday afternoon. She is doing great and described how cold and rainy it had been in Maine. Her yard outside sounds magnificent as she has so many perennials that come back every year for her.

She isn't growing any plants but is 'into' goldfish..........yes, I said goldfish. She even belongs to some web sites to discuss them. Kim also has 3 new Persian cats and a big dog. She says she loves her new job so much she wants to retire with this company. Her voice was a happy one and just full of chatter...........

Evidently she has really gotten her life in order and loves working full time. Both kids are at home just thriving...........two teenagers.

I don't have her phone number because she has Vonage or something where I can't call her. She always calls me. It might still be on my caller ID if someone wants it. She doesn't read her email or use it. I know because she told me she quit using it when I kept forwarding her funny emails and she wanted pictures, etc. (LOL)

I'm very happy to know that she is doing well. I wish her all the best and hopes she rekindles her desire to grow!

Oh, I didn't really know her and I am sure she wouldn't know me, but I am glad to hear she is doing well, after reading her last post.

It was just such a shock to her to start working again full time.......evidently she loves it now .
