Plant ID

Atkinson, NH(Zone 5a)

Hello guys.

A friend of mind was given the attached plant and was told, they didn't know what it was. I have never seen it before...supposedly a vine, she just planted it last week, and it is already climbing...very delicate. Flowers are small, l/2 inch...the friend said it was "Jacob's Ladder", but I thought I had Jacob's Ladder, which isn't a vine, and is light lavender... UMMM

Hope all are doing well in the rain.

Very invasive Crown Vetch!! Good plant to fill a ditch with, IMHO.... thats about it.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

I am always pulling it out! It will try to strangle and cover everything it can. Grows wild everywhere around here.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Its used on banks and ditches as ground cover.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Luckily it's one I don't have. Have enough others.
