I'm going away for a month from mid july to mid august. If I take cuttings now and put them in water (or rather just before I leave), will they last a month? I was thinking of doing that for insurance purposes.
How long will cuttings last in water?
You'll never collect from them if they do expire...

they were laying down,, ith alot of the stem in the water..
they were in a Galvanized container.. it was my theory,,that helps control the fungal attackers
