SHAME on you, pellatory! I was just checkin' in, went out to check one of yours out, and found a Peregrin (?) Falcon going 182 mph, reportedly 240+ the following day. For cryin' out loud. It's 7 a.m. and I have to get ready for work!
Linda
Oh yes. "Frightful" the Peregrine Falcon. She got clocked up to 242mph !!!!!

I saw that on the news last night, twincol. That was really weird to see
Yes, Crazybirdlady, that's the one. I saw it on ABC News and was struck by the "air-weaving," as well as the landing and taking off from the berry tree, LOL. It was a hoot to watch the tree.
Aaaahh, yes, Pellatory, that's him/her, "Frightful." It's on a NatGeo UTube showing. An amazing thing to contemplate, isn't it? 242 MPG!
Sadly, I am old enuf that I'll likely not live long enough to be able to appreciate how accessible learning will be when The Internet achieves adulthood. In the meantime, I am enjoying it's childhood tremendously.
What a difference between my childhood and today. What a blessing it is in so very many ways.
