Just how many different colors do Brugmansias come in?

Petaluma, CA(Zone 9a)

Just started collecting Brugmansias - I have and a white and a yellow so far. I'd like to try and collect one of every color. How many other colors are there?

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

Besides the white and yellow, the more common Brugs come in various shades of pink, gold, orange, and combinations of those main colors to give you cream, apricot, salmon, peach, yellow-gold, yellow-orange, rose. Some of the more exotic Brug species come in red-orange and shades of lilac, but those species require a cooler climate, such as that provided by San Francisco. B. sanguinea has blooms that come closest to red, but it quites forming buds when temperatures go above the low 70s. The whole plant can die in a matter of days if the temperatures go into the 90s. Only a few lucky soles have seen this beauty bloom.

Then there are some with multiple skirts!

Right now I have 93 different brugs growing in my yard, I really don't think any are the exact color, style or shape with the exception of the whites. Happy collecting.

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

MMMMMMM How many colors....
In Brugs... it'slike Brenda said... depends on how many you have...each is unique..wonderfully so... now if they had better dispositions..

Watertown, NY

Soil and temps cam also alter the colors. What is dark pink here in northern NY may be pale pink in Florida,

Bowie, MD(Zone 7a)

WOW 93 Brugs! Are they in the ground or in pots? I have around 30 in pots in my yard right now. It's easier for me to move them in in the winter. They are definately unique. I know your yard is beautiful!
