CLOSED: Crow or Raven or . . .

When I first saw this bird, I thought "crow". But the eyes, do crows have eyes like those.

Here's another look at it.

the Hackster stuck out again - not a crow nor a raven!.

You know, I saw that on p87 of my stokes book. And it is what I photoed - eye and all.

What messed me up was that the book says it is 16" long. Then I remembered that's from tip of beak to tip of tail. Which is about how long mine was. Don;t know why, but I was thinking just body mass. Come to think about it and bird with 16" only in the body would be rather large.
