Melfa, VA(Zone 8a)

If anyone is interested in the possibility of a swap, co-op or a combintaion of the two, please check the thread on this forum "Disappointed no one wants to trade sedums!" It will probably limited to only 12 people.

There's a forum for co-ops. You might find more interest over there as well.

I realize that, but this isn't planned to be exactly like a co-op but more of a group trade. This thread is for interest and ideas only. Maybe then we can move it over to another forum.
Thanks!

That is where I started but the title doesn't exactly go along with the new idea that came as a result. With a new title, I think people would be more likely to read it. I really don't want more than 12 people because I figure that is all we could really manage.

Debbie maybe you could move it over to this forum........... http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/rrtrade/all/

Co-op would be fun that way you could get something you don't already have....Thinking those of us that have quite a few sedums would end up with the same thing in a swap...How would you handle a swap to get something you don't have??????

Melfa, VA(Zone 8a)

I have been considering the option I had mentioned earlier in the other thread. I just ordered 12 new sedums. I am waiting to see how big the pots are when they come in which should be soon. If each pot could be divided into three plants and each person paid for 4 pots, even at reg prices, that would be 11.00. I think we could get 12 pots among us. Have all pots sent to 1 person to save on shipping...one package...that person would divive them up abd ship 12 different ones to each person. That should make the total less than 20.00 per person for 12 plants. Of course, if the pots are only big enough to split in half, the price per person should be less than 25.00. Personally, I don't think that is too bad for 12 new plants.
A lot of people that have expressed interest have only a very few sedums and mostly ones that a lot of people already have. I am not sure that a regular swap would work to get new plants.
The above idea is more like a co-op-swap-trade mixture.
Who is willing to participate in one like this? I would like to get 12 people only, I guess the first 12 who really have to interest.
Debbie

PLEASE...those of you that are really interested in this type of exchange, please dmail me.
