Couldn't find any pollen

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

On either Xanthosoma or Alocasia and the blooming side by side.

Pollen does not come on initial opening, but a day or two afterwards. Check them both tomorrow morning around 8 AM and I bet you find pollen on both. Stringy pollen on the Xanthosoma, powdery pollen on the Alocasia.

Thanks,any chance cross pollinating them?

Yes - slim and none! Even if they were compatible, at this time both are pollen-receptive, and at the time pollen comes out, neither will be pollen-receptive.
