I have lots of these little critters around. Mostly, I see them feeding on the ground, but on a few occasions they have visited the feeder. This one is on a branch right above the feeder, but it looks like he/she is reluctant to feed.
One thing I noticed, a male cardinal has no patience with them.
CLOSED: Is this another juvy cardinal?
yes this is a juvernile cardinal - you can see by the thick beak, and the blurry pointed head.
Thanks verifying my ID.
the Hackster, that's me - my Harley Road King has a sidecar, which is called a hack, thus my friends call me the Hackster - the one-legged, bird watching, Harley riding guy.
