Is this a juvenile Siskin please?

This bird was trying to muscle in on the niger seed that was being eaten by some goldfinches. It eventually succeeded. Thanks for any help.

It looks like a juvy to me. It's early in the breeding season. Might be the female, too.

I think you are right about the greenfinch - it has a forked tail and is about the same size as the goldfinch. Thanks
