Hi all,
Back from Hawaii, which of course was beautiful. I am disabled, mobile but no quadriceps. Went into the ocean in Kona, I was expecting an experience like Southern CA, my last experiece with an ocean.(at age 15). Well waves are faster, and rougher, and I don't have the use of my quadriceps even though I am mobile. The waves were taking me out farther than they were bringing me in and what little muscle I have left was pretty useless. So of course, I came close to drowning. Luckily for me, a very big man must have read the look on my face and asked if I needed help. I was ok until I got home, and from big bashed around in the Pacific Ocean had, infected lungs, infected sinus, two infected ears and both eye irritations. But I had a week of rest in Hawaii, with a sunset cruise, a luau and a great time with my sister I don't see often, so yes it was very worth it. Next question,
I have 3 phlox (David) the one in the front has always been the showiest, tallest most flowers, last longest. This year, tallest, but no buds or flowers. One's in the back already flowering. Any ideas?
Thanks Vicki
Back from Hawaii, you don't fight Mother Nature- Phlox ouch
I don't have any idea about your phlox but am glad you got back okay. Sounds like quite the scary experience!
No ideas about the phlox, but sure are glad you are okay after your relaxing?! vacation. What an experience!
