looking to make a memorial garden

Silver Lake, OH(Zone 5b)

things my Dad used to plant and love; things from Grandma's gardens; things for future joyous eating and sharing...

Dad: Pulmonaria, Mrs. Moon; purple snapdragons; pink and deep red peonies; spiderwort; a spirea called brial bouquet that had little white clusters of flowers for a tiny fairy bouquet... rhododendrons but also mountain laurel; Mt. hood daffodils... a purple and white iris called Wabash. Tall evening primrose. Feverfew. Straw flowers, aromatics, yellow missouri primroses, phlox - heavily scented ones. Perhaps we can trade. I just ordered boxes for mailing today. :)

I don't know how much I have to trade but am willing to share hostas (some named, some not), herbs (oregano, 2 kinds, bee balm, a beautiful fuschia, lemon balm, chocolate mint, Amish tea mint, peppermint, day lilies, lavender obedient plant, joe pye weed (meadowsweet), catnip, lavender. Baby rose of Sharons. Baby sassafras trees. English ivy, Pachysandra, variegated tall artemesia.

Hi, could do a trade later on in the season--rather one for postage, as I am "editing" my garden for future house move.
I have phlox, pulmonaria Mrs. Moon, spiderwort, Phlox (will tag the scented ones after they bloom, and a evening primrose type..it is the sundrop--confusing as it blooms deep sulfer yellow during the day. Might have one root of a pink peony- I have given most of it to family members and want to keep the rest but one root is blooming out of the clump so will see if I can get it out.
Remembering is good.

herbs-which ones? (oregano, 2 kinds-do you have the names?, bee balm, a beautiful fuschia,Amish tea mint, peppermint, joe pye weed (meadowsweet), catnip, lavender. Baby rose of Sharons. Baby sassafras trees., variegated tall artemesia

the oreganos I have are one Italian and one Greek, which is all that it said on the tag. I have LOTS of sassafras trees about 3 - 4 feet tall. tons of Amish tea mint, this variegated artemesia.

Marcia, my kitties still have fun with the "snake" you sent them.

I love spiderwort and the scented phlox take me back.... a pink peony would be amazing. Mrs. Moon was a favorite, I would be thrilled to have any of those, Marcia.

Tall evening primrose.... a big want for me, Flowersthebest... I recently found at walmart bath products that are scented with meadowsweet (Joe Pye). Of course I had to buy it all.

Thanks you two. I hope we can do a trade, either for plants of postage.

HI, so glad that the kitties still have the snake. Casey still plays with hers, as do the dogs. I have been meaning to make more, but haven't gotten to it. I did cut back the catnip plants and brought them into the drying rack.
Just send me the postage and I will fill up a box-just let me know the size you want.
I could cut back the phlox, so that you could get side blooms, as the top blooms haven't set yet. We had August weather (ACK) for the last couple weeks, but April arrived, to my delight Sunday night, so able to do some garden work. The gardens sorely need it. I
did more "editing" yesterday. The daylilies are starting to bloom, nice as I can mark which ones will stay until the move and which ones will go.
I am in the address exchange.
Hope that you are enjoying the day.
