Ready to take pictures of the girls :)

Hi,

I got to my boyfriends place about 2 pm and unloaded the car.
Got everything put away and then got ready to go take pictures of the girls :)

As I started taking the pictures, my batteries died :( LOL

I just can't believe it! It would happen to me!

Camera is resting and batteries are charging. I'll try for it again tomorrow.
In the mean time, were going to go eat, and then look for some of the pictures that he does have of the flock and see if I can scan some of them.

Oh he is Yummy! (oh gosh.. I guess that's a bad term for a roo) but I love the color.. Love it! So cool..
Can't wait to see more!

This is Ruby. The one I had to take the dead mouse away from that time.
She was a little bugger about not wanting to have her picture taken.
What would you say she is ZZ and anyone else?
We were told we were getting Aracana - Easter Egg.

she looks like my welsummers but mine have yellow legs so welsummer cross mabe? what color eggs does she lay? mine lay medium speckled to choc colored eggs.

She lays blue eggs.

OH, and my boyfriend only got Ruby and Buddy after he let them know they messed up the first time around and we got none of them.

These pictures are going to be slow loading, I'm on dial up :( Takes forever it seems.

Boy silkie, the colors are a lot alike. Different colored feet though.

We hatched this one. And yummy Buddy is the proud papa :)

Rooster needs to leave her alone so her head feathers can grow out again!
We think this one is Ruby's daughter.

Then we have this gentle little white or cream colored girl. She usually comes right for me when I go out there. She usually lays an olive green egg.
We hatched her too.

Our White Rock...............Seems to like to have her picture taken.

We call this one Crow. She looked so much like a crow when she was little and we would have to get her out of a tree at times to keep her safe at night. But she lays blue eggs :)
She is all black, but a kind of shinny black.

These are my golden comets which are red sexlinks,yours look a lot like them,they were glad when the rooster went to a new home,they lost a lot of feathers on there backs.

Thanks green, those do look like our girls.
And our girls lost feathers on their back too when we had more roosters. Some of our roosters just happened to find different homes, so I'm sure our girls are happier now :)
