How was your day....163 ????

Good morning everyone...

First off, I want to thank everyone for the birthday cards being sent to my DM. She is amazed at the thoughtfulness of Dave's people that would do something like this. She really enjoys getting the cards and reading the notes that are enclosed.

Its quite concerning to us here at how much she is failing, though. From what my DSIL says, DM has gotten worse since this last horpital visit. She is terribly forgetful and quite combative at times. I only see her once a year so its a shock to see her get like this. The ones around her on a daily basis don't notice the small changes as much, I dont think. I hope she will have a nice birthday party on Sunday.

The weather here sure has been nice. They have been getting a lot of rain, so much that the crops and gardens are behind. I wonder if they will ever catch up to be where they should be. But the temps are in the 80's which is a welcome change for me, although most here say its too hot for them.
