What are these on my A. gigantea

New Port Richey, FL(Zone 9b)

I thought Polydamus swallowtails couldn't live on gigantea. So when I saw the cluster of eggs all over the place I assumed the where pipevine swallowtails.I've seen alot of both in the yard around the pipevine. Both eggs look the same to me.

Congrats!!! You've got Polydamus Swallowtail caterpillars!!!

Now that just isn't fair though - I've had a. elegans and a. fimbriata growing in my back yard for several years and not one single Poly has used either of them! Matter of fact, nothing has made use of them but the flies - which I read are pollinators for aristolochia. By the looks of all the seed pods I get I must have gobs of flies doing the pollinator dance :o)
