106.6 no rain in sight
106.6 no rain in sight
You ought to live in NW Florida - LOL - not a drop of rain in forever, it seems - supplemental water every day!
108 today, what's rain?
raining here and it's beautiful!! *S* My plants are all doing a happy dance!
Lucky lady!
We *should* get some today because I spent 2 hours dragging around 5 hoses, filled all the hummer feeders and put out fresh birdseed. The ol' triple whammy for the rain powers that be. LOL
Too funny, Ginger. I just foliar-fed all my Brugs, so if it's going to rain at all, it will probably be this afternoon!
Try finding a still sunny morning to spray Roundup and just about the time you get through cleaning the sprayer, the sky starts to rumble and the weeds start laughing......seems like it always works here.
OK, I will try that - I need to spray some weeds, anyhow, so out I go to spray!
Well my whammies did not work. :-(((( maybe..hopefully...today.
I need something that won't hurt the plants...but kill all the lil weeds that grow between....need about a 10 gallon bucket full to just power spray everything! LOL
weeds are growing faster than the plants *S*
You are right - didn't work here, either! I agree - make something that will discern weeds from desirable plants, so we can safely spray - if only the desirables would grow as fast and lush as the weeds!
DIRTYGIRL71, they have a product called "Over the Top" to kill weeds in flower beds. It comes in liquid form and supposedly does not harm ornamental plants.
There is some additional information on this site.

Hey...thanks, josegabriele...I'll look into that ... if it really does work it sure would make my life easier!
Have you used it????
Never mind.... right there in black and white...says, This is not recommended for spray in a floral bed or vegetable bed, as those plants are generally soft plants. that is what I have...alot of flower beds!
I was excited about the possibility, too, until I read that it can't be used on soft plants - shucks!
