Update on Thing 1 and 2 (Macaws)

Well for those of you interested here is the latest on my boys. Thing 2 (feather picker) is doing so well! I would say he has about 70% of his feathers back and is looking gooooooood!!!! We have just adopted him out this week. He went to one of our clients that already has a Blue and Gold and she is in love with him. She has renamed him Blaze and says he is doing very well at her house. She is very kind and letting him get settled in before introducing him to "Blue". She was so gentle and patient with him when she would come to visit so I think he is really going to do well with her! It warms my heart to see someone be drawn to him since he was the feather picker - shows me she is really cares for him! Most people always like the feathered one because he is more beautiful in their mind. Anyway, Thing 1 is doing well too! He doesn't seem to mind being without Thing 2 and likes being the total center of attention! He is such a ham and loves all the action around the clinic. Hope all of you are doing well!
