Patrick, now that I can see "Briar Patch" and "Fallen Hero" together I know what your looking for when you cross pollinated them both, what should come out should look really beautiful. Hope you get seed pods with lots of seeds from them. By the way, both blooms are really beautiful.

Thanks Wilfred,
I hope that I get a Key Lime and a Briar Patch at the same time, they both have blooms that are the same size,

I hope to get alot of seeds, Briar Patch has had to pods fall off so far, they get really fat and they are stay on for a couple of weeks and they they fall off.
Have you had this happen?

It happen more often than you think, some hibs tend to do this more than others, just have to keep trying. Also check the amount of water being given to the plant, to much or to little can cause this also. I call this hibs stress factors. hope they stick this time.

Super nice photos Patrick. Love the "Briar Patch" mucho. Personally, I've taken a real liking to the browns and blues in the first couple of years. Was glad to hear, awhile back, that pod dropping was a pretty common occurrence. Luckily you guys stopped me from thinking of grafting it back on. LOL

I love the colors on Briar Patch, so unusual, I don't recall seeing it before. Great blooms on both though, thanks for sharing the pics.

Wow, LOVE the Fallen Heroes! Need to add that one to my pink garden!

Hey Patrick, I was just thinking and imagining how nice a bloom might come out by cross pollinating your "Fallen Heroes" with your "White Diamond". This is what I was emanating, White Diamonds lavender-blue & white speckled outer edges with Fallen Heroes dark pink center. What you think of this combination.

Wilfred

I put your photo of your "White Diamond" from a previous thread you had.

Wilfred,

We are on the same page, we did that yesterday morning when they both opened up. We got lucky and they both bloomed at the same time
