A friend pointed out that Texas thinks highly of itself, claiming origin of many recipes by placing their name in the title.

We were discussing dirt cake, the only name I'd heard it by, and she pointed out it originates in Kansas and is one of their few recipes and is rightfully called "Kansas Dirt Cake".

So I was wondering...do you have any state named recipes to share?
