I am interested in trading for a few Tillandsias. I have a trade list to send you and photos of these plants upon request.
Waiting to hear from someone...

I have three pink ones. I can take pictures tomorrow. Please send me your trade list.
Mittsy
Mittsy, I have tried to trade with people way up north and the plants just can't take our gulf coast summers.
How are your pink iochroma doing? We are in an extreme drought and have temps up to 100% daily. Very early for this kind of heat. We did not have the torrential spring rains common in May. I have a small struggling pink iochroma. I guess I will dig it and move it to the shade as life support.

I bought them at an orchid show in Cocoa, FL (I'm a snowbird) they do well in FL but aren't doing so well in Cicero, NY. I don't think we get enough sun here for them. Plenty of humidity. I wish you luck!
If there is anything on my list that you are interested in trying, I would trade for pink iochroma.
Johanna
Me too!

flicker........maybe you get your northern plants at the wrong time. i have good luck with "yankee" plants but i trade differently . i send spring/summer. they send fall. then the plants, coming and going do good i think. the ones getting out of texas are especially happy. lol.
