I have a pot of miniature calla lilies, all colors, that I have grown for the last 3 yrs in a square planter. Keep them in the basement over the winter, then bring them out for the Spring. They are a little slow this year, have more green than blooms at the moment, but this is the first one to bloom. Such a cutie.....
I winter over some of mine in pots, some I dig. Here is a pot wintered over one,'Flame'. Patti
oh, what a pretty yellow! The name does it justice, with the red/orange at the base.. I've not tried planting mine in the ground, as I got hooked on these when I had an apartment. They did so well in the big planters, that I just left them in it when I moved. They're due to be re-potted this fall, for sure. Thanks for the pic!
